Greetings from the Pacific Disability Forum (PDF).

The inclusion of persons with disabilities in the planning, developing, implementation and monitoring processes of development frameworks, legislation, policies and programs is crucial in ensuring that their rights are protected, promoted and enjoyed. The UNESCAP’s Disability at a Glance 2015 report published in December 2015, reported that there are 6,310,795 persons with disabilities in the Pacific (including Timor Leste) and including them in all part of the processes will ensure the protection, promotion and realisation of their rights and interest.
